Welcome to UNR 3D Printing Lab

The UNR 3D Printing Lab is a research facility located in the Harry Reid Engineering Laboratory (HREL) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Led by Dr. Jin, the lab specializes in advanced applications of 3D printing. Our research focuses on 3D bioprinting of living tissue constructs, 3D printing of hydrophobic functional materials, yield-stress fluids for 3D printing applications, stimuli-responsive materials for 4D printing applications, and fabrication of multi-layered capsules. We aim to develop novel 3D printing techniques by coupling materials and fabrication approaches and understanding the underlying physics during printing.
